100% Pure Cosmetics, or Makeup to Feel Like a Jungle Princess - Makeup and Beauty Blog
100% Pure is an all-natural and cruelty-free cosmetic make that's besides free of artificial colors, fragrances, synthetic chemic preservatives, and all other toxins. They were founded in Napa but are now based in Silicon Valley, then nosotros're basically neighbors (I live in Oakland).
Fruit Pigmented Pomegranate Oil Anti Crumbling Lipstick in Poppy ($28) is a bright classic red, very similar in color to Sephora's Cream Lip Stain in E'er Red. It makes me feel similar I'1000 a jungle princess who makes her own lipstick from local berries.
I oasis't used it with a liner only accept had cypher signs of feathering. I don't remember the last fourth dimension I wore a lipstick that wasn't matte, just I've been reaching for this one day in and day out considering it smells absolutely divine and makes my lips look full. The formula is likewise moisturizing and fades evenly throughout the day. What more could you ask for?
Honorable mentions: Foxglove ($28) and Fig ($25). Foxglove is a proficient my-lips-but-better shade, and Fig is a mauve. The formula is consequent across every shade I've tried, and each colour looks just as lovely equally a stain and opaque color.
Big fan, big fan.
Using the Black Tea Long Last Liquid Center Liner ($28) brings me corking satisfaction. Non simply is the packaging shiny and eye-catching, just the product itself is really exceptional. It'southward pretty pigmented but did benefit from two coats on my eyelids. The pigment comes from crushed black tea leaves, how cool is that? Plus, it doesn't make my eyes water and smells then wonderful (similar tea). It'south marketed equally h2o resistant, but I have a really hard time scrubbing swatches of information technology off of my arm. The staying power is incredible.
Honorable mention: Maracuja Mascara in Black Tea ($25). The mascara smells just like the eyeliner and doesn't make my eyes h2o. I typically become for volumizing formulas over lengthening ones, so while this is a great lengthening mascara, I wouldn't use it unless I was going to put on some falsies. If you take sensitive eyes and love lengthening mascaras, definitely give this one a get.
Luminating Créme in Starlight ($21) is a foam highlighter with a doe-foot applicator. The shade is a versatile white golden that creates a natural (only buildable) glow. I've been enjoying wearing it on its own and setting it with something like Lunch Money past Colourpop. On its ain, it lasts on my skin all day long.
Fruit Pigmented Blush in Peach ($35) is a peachy shade that leans terracotta. The formula is silky smoothen, blendable, and very pigmented. This shade is a staple, versatile shade that's great for a healthy affluent across a variety of skin tones. Information technology lasts all day on my normal/combination skin, and the tin is totally adorable. A+.
Honorable mention: Salubrious Flawless Skin Foundation Powder in Peach Bisque ($38). I've been using Peach Bisque every bit a bronzer, and it works wonderfully for that with my skin tone. The formula is consistent with the chroma, and it lasts all twenty-four hours on me. Here'due south my gripe: if yous had a couple shades of this foundation pulverisation in your makeup routine, it would be difficult to tell them autonomously quickly. While the tins await gorgeous, they're impractical in my routine.
The Fruit Pigmented Palettes: Pretty Naked ($45), Punk Princess ($48), Mermaid ($48), and Sexual practice Kitten ($48). Compared to how much I love the lipsticks, liquid liner and foam highlighter, the palettes underwhelm me. The packaging is a-d-o-r-a-b-fifty-e, correct down to the names of each shade, and every palette (except Pretty Naked) has a highlight, chroma, and three shadows. Pretty Naked, on the other hand, has an illuminating blush and four shadows.
I had a difficult time making a solid look with one palette. Pretty Naked is the only palette with matte shades, and it has 2. These shadows definitely crave a primer and a good packing brush if you desire to get the all-time color payoff, and I really had to pack color on to achieve a look I was happy with.
The highlight shades don't really exercise it for me, either. While they cast a nice glow, I tin see the powder on my skin from a distance. That'southward alright though considering the cream version exists.
Yay, Starlight!
The tiptop performing products I've tried from 100% Pure are things that make sense in my mind to exist pigmented with fruit, like the lipsticks and chroma. The eyeliner and mascara are also very pigmented and smell merely like what they're made from, and the luminzer is obviously fabricated from fairy grit.
What do yous call back about fruit pigmented makeup? Would you rock one of these items here?
